About us

Idaho owned. Idaho built.

Founded by an Eagle Scout and former wildland firefighter. We bring discipline, safety and precision to every job.

Rain Gutter Solutions founder on a Treasure Valley job site

A small local crew, not a franchise

We are based in Eagle and have worked the Treasure Valley since 2015. The person who quotes your job is on the roof when it gets done. That is the only real way to keep standards where we want them.

The background matters more than it sounds like it should. Wildland firefighting teaches you to respect a ladder, a roof pitch and a weather window. Scouting teaches you to leave a site the way you found it. Both show up in how we work.

5% off for veterans, first responders, and seniors. Just mention it when you call.

How we work

What you are actually hiring

  • 10+ years experience

Over a decade protecting Treasure Valley homes and commercial buildings. 2,500+ projects completed, with a 4.9-star average across 45 Google reviews.

  • Licensed & insured

Fully licensed, bonded and insured for your protection. Idaho registration RCE-8861261, and BBB accredited. Safety-first practice on every job site, out of an Eagle Scout and wildland firefighting background.

  • Precision craftsmanship

Seamless runs, correct pitch, tight mitres and clean outlets. Custom 5" and 6" K-style systems specified for Idaho climate extremes rather than to a generic rule of thumb.

  • Clear communication

One contact, reliable timelines, transparent pricing. Updates you can trust from quote to completion, and homeowner and builder estimates turned around within 24 hours.

The gutter machine comes to you

Everything travels. The coil, the roll former, the crew. Your gutter is made on your driveway to the exact length of your roofline, which is the whole reason we can say seamless and mean it rather than meaning stock lengths joined on site.

It also means if something is different from what we expected once we are up there, we can adapt on the day instead of ordering a part and coming back next week.

How we quote

What you get from an estimate

  1. We look at the whole roof

Not just the run you rang about. Water that fails at one corner is often a symptom of something two elevations away, and quoting only the symptom means you pay twice.

  2. We check the fascia before pricing

The board behind the gutter is what everything hangs on. If it is soft, that changes the job, and you should hear that before you commit rather than on the day.

  3. Carpentry is its own line

If a fascia board needs replacing, that is not gutter work and it is not buried in the gutter number. You see exactly what you are paying for and what you could defer.

  4. The price does not expire

No same day discount and nobody calling you a week later. If the quote is good it will still be good when you have had another one, and we would rather you got another one.

Questions about us

Who actually turns up to do the work?

Our own crew, and the person who quoted the job is on the roof while it happens. Nothing is passed to a subcontractor. On a small operation that is not a marketing position, it is just how it works, and it is the reason we can give you a straight answer on site instead of relaying one back from an office.

What does licensed and insured actually mean here?

We hold Idaho contractor registration RCE-8861261 and carry full liability insurance, and we are BBB accredited. Certificates are available on request before work starts and we would rather you asked. Plenty of outfits use the phrase without a number behind it.

How long have you been doing this?

Since 2015, working the Treasure Valley the whole time, with 2,500+ projects completed. The rating is 4.9 across 45 Google reviews, all of which you can read on the homepage.

What is the discount and who gets it?

5% off for veterans, first responders, and seniors. Mention it when you call and we will apply it to the quote. There is no paperwork and we do not ask for proof.
